Miguel Malvar y Carpio was a Filipino general who served during the Philippine Revolution and subsequently during the Philippine–American War.
In 1892, Miguel Malvar was the Gobernadorcillo of his town. He was appointed by Gen. Aguinaldo as Lieutenant General on March 31, 1897. Malvar undertook the siege of San Pablo, Laguna and attacked cazadores of Batallion 11 in Barrio Sta. Clara in Sto. Tomas on November 19, and encountered the enemy in Barrio Bilog-bilog in Tanauan.
