Oct 28, 2016 · Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium has been host to the football team since 1926. It has been expanded and renovated many times since it’s opening. In 1972, Memorial Stadium’s playing surface was named Faurot Field in honor of longtime coach Don Faurot.
