Its life began in 1826 when Louis Campau decided to set up a trading post here, allowing it to grow over time into a village.
Must see in Grand Rapids. Several area friends described this as a must-see, and they were absolutely correct. The combination of sculpture, both classical and modern, and the natural setting was stunning. We spent almost 3 hours walking the trails, and still didn't see everything.
