Historical Background. 1. Its Roots from Italy to the Philippines. The first Don Bosco school began in 1853 in Turin. The first trade house outside of it was Mirabello. Gradually, as years progressed, establishments of schools spread to Genoa in Italy and to San Nicolas de los Arroyos and Buenos Aires in Argentina.
