I have the impression that "necessary" wants a "to" rather than a "for" when we talk about conditions. However, this may be just because "it is a necessary condition to" is often correct.

Just use the simple present tense form and leave out the "should". "It's necessary that you take the car" "It's important that he sleeps well if he wants to succeed tomorrow"

Sep 12, 2015 · 2 (active). It is necessary FOR SOMEONE TO DO SOMETHING. In this case, you put the verb in the INFINITIVE mood (buy using "TO DO"). Or in the PASSIVE form: 2 (passive). It is necessary FOR SOMETHING TO BE DONE (BY SOMEONE). It all depends on what you want to mark, if you are looking to convey a difference of emphasis or anything. Hope it helps, TWL
Jul 17, 2018 · "If necessary" sounds a little more likely to me, RomanPins. "If needed" is okay, however. I don't think you need "If it is needed", but that is also something that you could reasonably say in that sentence. If I needed to say that, I would use this sentence: I will call the cops if necessary. OR: I will call the cops if that is necessary.

"It's necessary that I be there on time" is correct but sounds wordy, considering the much more concise "I have to be there on time" exists. No native speaker would say the former sentence seriously. "It's necessary that I'll be there on time" sounds wrong to my ears, but maybe not to other anglophones, since these days people seem to avoid the subjunctive whatever way they can.
