Based on the home movies shown, Thomas appeared to be about eight or nine years older than Joey.
Nov 22, 2018 · Note: There has been some confusion over the years because the Hughes 500D N58428's logbook says, “Mag PI film work” and “MPI equipment trans.” These notations in 428's logbook indicate that it was used as a camera, chase helicopter and to transport equipment around for the Second Unit, in remote filming locations in California, for the "Two Birds of a Feather" episode.
May 17, 2018 · Pahonu (aka Robin's Nest) torn down! 4/14/2018 - Sad news for Magnum P.I. fans this week. The building structures of Pahonu, the property in Waimanalo that was used as the exterior filming location for Robin's Nest (and used in nearly every episode), have been torn down to make way for a new, unknown development project.
May 9, 2014 · Just prior to Magnum P.I., the N58243 was used in a 1980 episode of Vega$ ("Aloha, You're Dead"), which also featured the Anderson Estate (aka Robin's Nest). If you would like to take the chopper for a spin around the islands you can try your hand at MS Flight Simulator ( 2004 & X ) which has a free Hawaiian-themed scenery add-in that features T.C.'s chopper .

Mar 7, 2012 · 5 During an address check, Magnum pulls up to a building where a sign reads "Jan Kona Real Estate". Jan Kona was a character played by Jill St.John in Season Two's "Three Minus Two" (2.22). The camera pauses briefly on the sign and Magnum appears to recognize the name. (Noted by N1095A)

In Season Four, Ronald Lacey (Major Arnold Toht in Raiders ) guest starred in " The Case of the Red Faced Thespian " (4.12) as Lowell Xavier Jameson (aka "Archer Hayes"), the majordomo of Robin's Nest before Higgins' reign.
