It could have been, "Pang ilan kang tumae sa magkakapatid" or "Pang ilan kang kumain sa magkakapatid", but it's always assumed as "Pang ilan kang pinanganak sa magkakapatid".
Feb 22, 2020 · English does have a counter (it has ordinal numbers). What is doesn't have is an interrogative "version" of it, which in Tagalog is pang-ilan . The easiest way to explain pang-ilan to English speakers would be "it is the question asked when you want an ordinal number as an answer".
