Feb 11, 2020 · Jumanji (1995) - Alternate Universe. In the introduction, we see two people burying Jumanji who suspected a pack of wolves to be after them. One of the kids fall in the hole and is afraid the game was after him. They bury the game and say "God have mercy on their soul", in reference to whoever digs up the game.
There's one thing that I just don't understand though. At the end of the movie when Alan and Sarah wind up back in 1969 they toss the game into a river with some bricks tied to it, presumably so that it's lost in much the same way we see at the beginning of the film. Dec 4, 2021 · Did a jumanji marathon with the kids. Forgot how creepy and dark the original was. First of all it plays much more like a horror film in the beginning. It honestly feels like a goosebumps or are you afraid of the dark episode in the beginning. They did a good job of teasing you with the game before really letting loose.

May 29, 2020 · I 100% agree, I don't even remember watching 1995 Jumanji, but apparently I left the cinema crying, which again, I don't remember, just saying what I've been told, I love Robin Williams but I think he's done better movies, and even then; I kind of preferred his stand-up gigs to his movies, which is rare because I find most stand-ups gruelling and unfunny, but Robin Williams and Joan Rivers ...
