The school was named after the late Mr. Jose De Villa, Sr., father of Mrs. Nicasia De Villa Reyta, the donor of a hectare of land which was utilized as a school site. For two (2) months, the first year of classes were housed in Manguiring Elementary School under its Principal Mr. Eleuterio Dacara, Jr., while the school site was under construction.
