I suppose one first thing I'd try is changing your Windows theme (right-click desktop and choose the last option, which would be personalize, then go to "Themes" area and try another one). Also since "shutdown" really only hibernates now, you should try at least one round of this command in your run box to do a full kernel boot.

After installing the update my computer was unable to download the debugging symbols from msdl.microsoft.com. Then I suddenly saw this type of inconsistency in my UI. If you turn on display of non-printing formatting characters it could also include text formatted as "Hidden," which is a type of font formatting. Sep 17, 2016 · Invisible text in Edge. After installing the anniversary update on my thinkpad tablet 2 I found that the buttons and text in the menu bar of the edge web browser are invisible. The buttons still work and I can access the settings menu but all the text is invisible. What could be causing this?
