Jan 18, 2023 · I'm being asked to sign in with a previous email that was a part of my Apple ID for years until some months ago--I changed to a new ID and that pre-dated my icloud pop up issues by several months. Although I didn't know I was supposed to do anything after changing my ID, the correct ID shows up on my phone and I can use the new ID to sign in to icloud.com on my windows pc.

Nov 2, 2023 · While transferring all the data from my old iPhone 7 to the new 11 via the cloud I have an issue arise. On starting the transfer the old phone gave a message “you can new continue set up on your new phone” The new IPhone 11 however started set up then seemed to get stuck and is saying “updating iCloud settings” with a spinning wheel.

Nov 2, 2023 · iCloud log in prompt keeps coming up on my Windows laptop - with an old email address Every few minutes, a log in prompt keeps coming up on my laptop. The user name is a previous email address. It won't register a previous password or my current one for this old email (just to enter to get rid of the prompt) When I log into iCloud using my current credentials - I can access account no problem.
