Absolutely right. Try working with a couple 3+GB files on your phone, for that matter a tablet. Ridiculous. GoPro editing software options are going backwards. All they need to do is bring back GoPro Max export and I could bring files into Adobe Premier Pro. Crickets from GoPro Support. Very sad.
Is there realtime in-camera stabilization for MAX when using 360 mode? (Will the 360 video be stitched and stabilized in the camera?) If not, is the stabilization applied only in the app?

The videos created on the gopro are .360 file format, when I use GoPro max exporter it then converts them to .MOV file format. To then upload to youtube you need to use the Special Media Metadata Injector, I select the "My Video is spherical (360)" tick box. Then inject matadata, See the attachment.
