Feb 8, 2022 · This has to do with how funimation is now running basically two different streaming services. One for the old layout/app. Another for the new layout/app. Causing some confusion and issues and mix-up like this. Until they transition everyone and all the services over to the new app/interface. I suspect this will continue to be a thing.

Aug 3, 2022 · Funimation will continue to have their apps and website up and running until all content is transferred over and will make an announcement when the platforms will be fazed out. All new shows are only on Crunchyroll, with Funimation only having reacurring seasons, such as the upcoming season 2 of the devil is a part timer, it will air on both Funimation and Crunchyroll.
Posts and comments that discuss going against these will be removed. This subreddit is an official channel of Funimation, so all Funimation guidelines must be followed. We also do not allow discussion around circumventing content restrictions (including location restrictions) for any Funimation content on other platforms like YouTube or Facebook.
Dec 17, 2021 · Also, I would recommend the live chat option to get this solved quickly. There should be an option for live chat on the support page during available hours. Be sure to keep your passwords unique and to change your passwords if they were the same elsewhere! Fr my Funimation app has not been working for the past 4 days.

Funimation and VRV streaming services will become useless for simulcast anime beginning with the Spring 2022 season. All titles previously announced by Funimation will instead appear on Crunchyroll.
