A fellow by the name of Esco is working on an engine update (created in Unity) to Symphony of the Night. This means new animations, new levels, new items, new lots of stuff. This is a non-profit fan-made passion project.
Sep 27, 2021 · The requirements seem fairly similar on the back, as well. X6 seems to require at minimum, Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, as opposed to Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP. This would be due to the directX requirement for X6, I believe. The detailed and coloured disc cover isn't unheard of at this time, either.

It's supposed to run via ePSXe version 1.5.2, but the PlayStation BIOS included on the disc is named incorrectly. Sep 7, 2024 · In this last gen, we've also had THREE Castlevania collections released on all platforms - including Nintendo Switch and PC. We've had the 2D games prior to SOTN released, and the 2D games post SOTN released. We just got a remake of Haunted Castle from M.2, as well. None of them included Symphony of the Night itself.

Castlevania - Symphony of the Night - HardType is an unofficial rom hack ( which I'm not sure I can link here) but I had a blast with it while waiting for Bloodstained patch/ update. The rom hack basically has to be patched with ppf-o-matic3.exe. once you have ripped your copy of SOTN and made it into a .bin file.
