Andre was around 7'2" at one point but because of his immense weight from his heavy body and bones from his disease he had multiple back surgeries that caused him to lose some height and be slightly hunched in his posture.

May 20, 2023 · Wilt was a legit 7'1" standing barefoot. By most accounts, Andre was around that same height give or take an inch. I saw the scales brother, he only had one foot on them too, in reality he would have weighed at least double that when I slammed him in front of 900,000 fans in the Superdome.
Andre is 607 pixels tall in this image (fro and all). If he was 7'4" (88 inches) that means the scale of the photo is 6.897 pixels per inch of height. In this image, Wadlow is 793 pixels tall, and at 6.897 pixels per inch, that puts him at over 9 and a half feet tall!
Mar 2, 2022 · 7. Acps0106. • 2 yr. ago. Yea I’ve read a few different articles saying Andre was legit 6’10/6’11 and Big Show said he was a legit 7’1 during his peak. He’s also been a legit 540 lbs, and had said the weight difference between him and Nash was larger than the weight difference between Nash and Mysterio. Taker was between 6’8-6’9.
Sep 8, 2022 · Andre's actual height was 7'2 at the most, and probably closer to 7' even for those thinking his billed height makes this picture inaccurate. That is still only a 2' height difference between people who make that look proportionately smaller. Andre still looks like he was shrunk.
Nov 6, 2020 · Wilt was 7'1" making Andre's true height 6'11. Not often Andre the Giant is the short guy. Andre might 6'11" here but he never stopped growing because gigantism. Woah never thought that, damn. That's not how it works.
Aug 17, 2022 · Andre was an absolute chad tho, he went from wearing a speedo to a ladies one piece swimming suit as his wrestling costume. Put that little outfit on Wadlow and let’s see how tall he feels then. Fun fact, in 1973 Andre had an unscripted fight with boxer Chuck Wepner. Andre won by literally throwing Chuck over the ropes and out of the ring.
Feb 13, 2021 · Andre the giant in reality was about 6'11 1/2". The same as what Big Show Paul Wight was in his prime. They originally tried to add more height to both superstars in wrestling. Wrestling has and is always good for adding to wrestlers heights and weights.
