Jul 10, 2023 · Simply hit the ENTER key on your keyboard. The Password as per the VOLTA Manual is "green1234". 8. If all went according to plan, the screen should show the battery information circled in green below. The COM light (Blue circle) should also flash GREEN/YELLOW indicating that the communication with the BMS is active.
May 13, 2023 · Posted December 24, 2023. Installed Dye with Volta Stage 1 battery, no panels. It initially charged to 100%. Then it kept charging at about 0.03 Kw and battery kept showing 100%. 2 days later the battery went dead at 51.9 Volts = 30% with grid power on. So obviously wasn’t charging.

BMS comms working with 5kw Deye inverter, single battery, float charge disabled. Deye also reports 0x000C alarm code on BMS. Any help would be appreciated!
Jan 15, 2023 · Just a quick question. Do any of you guys got experience with these Volta 5.12kWh Lithium-ion Battery, are they any good, short comings, any review would be great - I need more info as to should i invest in buying some - want to use it with a Deye 5KW Hybrid Inverter.
Feb 12, 2024 · The only issues I have heard about with the original / S Series Volta batteries is the charging issue which was corrected with firmware but I have not specifically gone looking for issues with the Volta batteries. R20k (S Series) vs R22.5k (Pro series), not a massive price difference but it does all add up.
Jul 31, 2024 · I chatted with the installer who told me that Volta's very rarely reach 100% and tend to get to 99% and float there.This is not in line with what I've seen from my batteries in the year and a bit I've had them. Also, I do't _think_ drawing all available production qualifies as floating, but perhaps I'm misunderstanding.
May 6, 2024 · I had a 5kw Deye and Volta Stage 1 installed 2 months ago, all worked perfect for about a month. Added panels a week ago. The SOC started dropping by ~1% per week after the first month, now sitting “stable” at 93%. I’ve read something regarding “SOC drift” on the Volta Stage 1’s and that a software update may fix it.
Jun 22, 2023 · The communication should immediately update the Growatt settings. On the Inverter set 5 to LI and it will jump to set 36. Set to protocol 52. Just check settings as from 36 should already be % as per BMS of the battery. Seems to work 100%. If the battery keeps on charging only to 90% the Volta firmware needs to be updated. Contact Volta
Jul 12, 2023 · Deye and Volta have come to a co-branding agreement where they are offering a limited warranty of eleven years on the Inverter and battery combinations. My question is are the Volta batteries worth considering or am I better off sticking to other brands instead of going for the limited carrot? Thanks Deye-VOLTA - Warranty Certificate.pdf
Jul 24, 2023 · Yup, just like your car manufacturer doesn’t have to be party to or have to sign off on an extended warranty offered by a third party. As long as the third party holds up their end of the deal. Quote. 1 yr Lionel Kosny changed the title to Deye 10 Year Warranty With VOLTA.
