Also agree with R3, he’s so much better than Bradley Cooper in Nightmare Alley, his performance has such cumulative power, the final scene comes together so well and is deeply moving. Aug 2, 2024 · Tyrone Power died at age 44, an alcoholic and a chain smoker. He already looked bad by the time he hit 30. His was very much a cautionary tale on how not to live one's life. His son however is aging pretty well.

I understand why some movies are updated to reflect the times but carnivals, geeks, and freaks are things of the past which can't be duplicated in the present. I get all the remakes of "A Star is Born" -- each one represents a different era.
