During the Civil War, Texas Ranger Todd Croyden is assigned to sneak Yankee spy Whitney Randolph out of a Confederate army camp. Although he dislikes Yankees, Croyden accomplishes his mission and brings Randolph to the home of Texas Governor Lubbock as ordered.
