St. Andrew’s School was founded by Rev. Fr. Josef Van Runckelen, a Belgian priest of the Congregatio Immaculati Cordis Mariae (CICM), otherwise known as the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. "Pare Jose”, as he was affectionately called, established the school on June 27, 1917.
