It was reported that they were married by a Justice of the Peace at a courthouse duing a lunch break from filming on Bonanza, and afterwards Pernell brought a case of champaigne back to the set to celebrate.
Oct 27, 2016 · Robert Vaughn played Luke Martin in "The Way Station." He was so annoying--it drove me crazy that Marty wanted to run away with him! But he did a great job with that character! Robert Vaughn was an extremely prolific actor. A couple of his better-known roles are Lee in The Magnificent Seven and Ross Webster in Superman III.
Jul 2, 2024 · Robert Middleton played a lot of villains in his career, but in real life he was a lighthearted, friendly man. I remember him as Sir Griswold, the man the princess Gwendolyn (Angela Lansbury) doesn't want to marry, in The Court Jester (1955).

Shirley Temple's Storybook was an American children's anthology series, hosted and narrated by actress Shirley Temple. The various parts were played by well-known actors.

I thought Robert Vaughn played westerns very well. Wasn't he one of the Magnificent 7? actually like him as a spy as well. T As mentioned above, it was good to see Pernell, alone, beginning to end. this isn't one of my go-to eps. though. It does bring to mind a recent western, book and movie (Tommy Lee Jones) called the "Homesman".
Sep 4, 2024 · When we got color television in Germany in 1967, Bonanza was broadcast again, this time 208 episodes on ZDF every Sunday at 6 p.m. and of course in color until 1977. The series ran for around 10 years and became the most popular western series. Just like Robert Fuller, Michael Landon could now often be found on the covers of Bravo magazine.

Robert Sampson, who played Bill Winters, gave a serviceable performance, but for the most part, I didn’t find his performance engaging, nor did I particularly empathize with his character’s plight until the genuinely moving “This is your grandfather” scene towards the episode’s end, which I attribute to Akins’ acting.
