May 7, 2024 · Nasim Pedrad’s Chad Cancelled at Roku. Not a surprise. I’m guessing that Roku picked it up for next to nothing. Nasim is really talented. Her impression of Aziz is one of my favorite things. I watched the first season with very low expectations and ended up really liking it. I haven’t seen s2 yet.

Jul 11, 2022 · HBO Max recently removed a lot of content- including a lot of content owned by HBO/Warner Bros., like the first season of Chad. While it remains a mystery why HBO has done this, the speculation by those in the industry is that Warner/Discovery (who merged with HBO mere weeks ago) is going to sell/license this content to other streaming services.

Oct 26, 2022 · the article kind of separates Chad from the other shows/films that were write downs. it seems like Pedrad asked them not to do a write down and instead let her shop it around elsewhere. While the others were permanently shelved to use as corporate tax write-downs, following a plea by Pedrad to the new TBS leadership, she and her team were allowed to shop the series.
