As matter of fact I have more respect for gary burghoff aka radar than I do mcclean Stevenson. Even after the failed walter pilot episode I think Gary had a far more better career than Stevenson.

The Hulu episodes are very clear even if they are cropped to wide screen. Must have slipped on a bar of soap. I always thought it was just bad makeup, trying to make him appear exhausted.
Jun 22, 2023 · Mclean himself was his typical lovable self, but without the rest of the MASH cast it was clear that this alone was not enough to carry a series. It was also clear that the supporting cast where nowhere near as talented as the one Stevenson had left behind. The writing was mediocre and very white bread. So much the opposite of MASH.
Dec 27, 2020 · Herb Edelman plays the older brother of McLean Stevenson. In real life, Stevenson was actually 6 years older than Edelman. McLean Stevenson and Herb Edelman play brothers on The Golden Girls in 1987. In real life, Stevenson and Edelman both die within six months of each other in 1996: Stevenson in February and Edelman in July.
