Jun 5, 2023 · If short term is fluctuating out of spec the purge valve leaking is another possibility. Positive fuel trims mean system is adding fuel, negative means system is reducing fuel. Fuel trim positive is a sign of a vacuum leak so system is adding fuel to compensate for the leak and if too much is constantly being added the P2097 code will set.
