Xbox is not a PC, and while it uses many fo the same technologies, it is a secure platform, and the games will not work. of you wish to purchase PC games, buy a PC.

I then re-ran the installer as described in step 6 on the Epic page linked to above, which in my case is C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Extras\EOS\EpicOnlineServices.msi and the installer ran successfully fixing the issue. Hope this helps someone.

We understand that you are trying to link your Microsoft account to your Epic Games account, but you must first unlink an Epic Games account from the Microsoft account in order to use the Epic Games account that you want. Aug 18, 2020 · Within my son's Epic Games account he currently has a connection to his Switch. When I try to link to his new box (which is his home xbox) I want it to connect to his xbox account, but instead it connects to my xbox account and at no point does it ask which box account to link to! We have a family Microsoft account where I have 2 son's listed.
Jan 23, 2022 · I contacted Epic Games support and after we tried all the usual fixes, they advised to contact Xbox. After this, I made a seperate Epic Games account and tried to link my Xbox to the new account but this also failed. Oddly enough, when I try to link my Twitch and Reddit Account to my Xbox, they tell me to login, but both in the end fail.
Mar 31, 2024 · I get on my epic games account after re installing the game thinking that was the problem. Only to find out that I needed to recover my password. My name was also changed and I also have a parental block on my account I emailed 3 of Epic games technical support people and the could not help me get the person off my account.
