Sep 1, 2022 · De La Salle Malvern is the first school it has purchased since its formation and ensures Catholic education continues at the site instead of the school being closed. A spokesman for Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools said it had no “immediate plans to acquire any other school”.

Aug 8, 2022 · After much discernment which commenced at the District Chapter 2018, we have reached a joint decision with Board of Directors of De La Salle College Malvern, to place the future care of the College with the Archdiocese of Melbourne in the name of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) and we have agreed to sell the College to them.
