A very simple Google search will tell you not only was he the primary writer, but he was the creator of the show. The whole show was pretty much his vision. You seem really hung up about Lost. You know that show was created before Lindelof was involved.

  7. Abrams, sure. But Lindelof has at the very least tried to expand the ip in the case of Watchmen. He gets blamed for Prometheus when he was just the last name on a list of six. The dude has his faults, but his career has been a lot more interesting and creative than that of Abrams. Also, Lindelof isn't a director.

He claims that he wants to tell stories which are ambiguous, as if that's enough, as if that defends the bullshit terribleness of his writing. As if the only possible complaint one could have about his work is that they didn't understand it.
