Welcome to Cardinal Hayes High School Admissions. We seek to inspire students to strive for personal excellence and responsible citizenship rooted within a Catholic framework. We work to accomplish this goal through our rigorous college preparatory program, discipline, and spiritual growth.
School closings, financial stress, social discord topped off by a global pandemic threaten the well-being, safety, and very survival of many Catholic schools. While certainly not immune to these real threats, Cardinal Hayes High School remains a beacon of hope on the Grand Concourse.

Academic Overview. The instructional program at Cardinal Hayes High School is designed for each student to achieve their full academic potential. The program includes a wide variety of course offerings and five different academic tracks including Honors and Advanced Placement programs.

The Board of Trustees plays an active, strategic oversight role in the affairs of Cardinal Hayes High School, with daily operations resting primarily in the hands of the school leadership team. The full Board of Trustees meets four times a school year and provides additional support through a series of standing committees.
