The first Avengers has aged pretty badly in that the costumes just look so fucking cringe and the cinematography is so bland in comparison, but Age of Ultron stepped it up to a whole other level. Moreover, after having seen the rest of the infinity saga, the film was extremely important as it almost acts like a filler for the main overarching story.
Sep 5, 2018 · Avengers: Age of Ultron was shot digitally using a huge array of different cameras including Arri Alexa XT Plus, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, Canon EOS C500, Phantom Flex4K, Red Epic Dragon and Red Epic cameras with resolutions ranging from 3.4K to 6K but ultimately finished as a 2K DI, which has presumably been used here for this Ultra HD Blu-ray release.

Ultron has way more interesting motivations than Loki, the avengers have more life, and so much better visuals. Avengers 1 looks like a straight to tv movie. Loki is an evil man who wants to take over the world and uses mind control to fight the avengers.
May 1, 2015 · “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” is a far cry from the comic book where Ultron suffered his most memorable defeat (The Mighty Avengers, Vol. 1, No. 68), brought about by the Word of God, seriously! This film is a more action packed, visually stunning and humorous telling than the first Avengers film.
Aug 26, 2021 · The comic event Age of Ultron was terrible IMO and was probably rushed out to legitimize the whole thing. The movie and the event have nothing in common either besides Ultron being the villain, this movie is based on Ultron Unlimited mainly.

Gone are the artificial-looking, pristine, flat shots of Avengers 1. The CGI is nothing short of excellent. Ultron could be perceived as an actual robot, that's how expertly his VFX were made.

Apr 18, 2020 · Age of Ultron isn’t awful, it’s important, it’s like Iron Man 2. Doesn’t make it a great film, Ultron always feels like the script wasn’t wit it could be. This was also around the time Ike Perlmutter was actively trying to destroy the MCU with Feige trying to save it.
