Nov 29, 2021 · CONTENT: As far as content, some things get posted on Shudder and AMC+ at the same time, but some stuff do premiere on Shudder before premiering on AMC+. For example, when PG: Psycho Goreman came out, I was able to watch it on AMC+ the same day it came out. But when the Creepshow Holiday Special came out, I had to wait like 2 weeks.
AMC+ still does not show season 1 as being included on Prime. I can see season 1, it just isn't included in my subscription. I have to pay for it. See screenshot attached. That's a screenshot from the Shudder category of my AMC+ Prime subscription. Those titles with the blue checkmark in the upper left corner mean they're included with AMC+.
Oct 4, 2023 · I switched from Shudder to AMC+ a few months ago. They started showing Joe Bob live on the AMC+ channel last season so you won’t miss it live. They don’t have the live Shudder channels though, they just show JB on the AMC+ channel.
Dec 22, 2021 · It seems AMC+ is having a 1.99 special if you subscribe for a year, vs it being 8.99 a month via prime. I'm not sure if you can also access AMC+ via prime if you sign up via AMC site. Hopefully if I go for the monthly I can cancel in a month they don't keep charging me.
Oct 18, 2021 · Yep, I just subbed to AMC+ for the black friday deal (23.88 for a year). I was doing a search to see if it really was the whole shudder library on AMC+ and it's not. AMC+ is missing a lot of movies that are on Shudder. So yea, not worth if you are only in it for Shudder, but a good deal if you want it for the other AMC content and channels.
Apr 11, 2022 · AMC+ streaming quality is inferior to all the channels that I have on Apple TV. It’s such a disservice to the content. It also seems like the Shudder stand alone streaming channel is better than ACM+
Aug 21, 2021 · I have a Sony Smart tv. I just downloaded the AMC+ App then signed in. I bought the $1.99 a month for a year as well. AMC+ app is ok but not user friendly. It’s been a year my membership expires at the end of the month. I made sure to cancel on the AMC+ website thru my account. I’ve checked out AMC+ now thru the ROKU, Apple TV & Amazon ...
Jun 11, 2022 · Some of it has to do with the contract they have with Netflix that pre-dates the creation of AMC+. Seasons 1-5 are on Netflix. The most recent season goes there as soon as they start airing the current season. As for Season 6, they basically put an expiration date on each episode. (I don't know if that has to do with their Netflix deal or what.)
Nov 3, 2021 · Yeah, I noticed this problem as well. We picked up AMC+ on the app version with it's holiday sale of $1.99 a month, but when we went to look for The Polar Express it wasn't there. It was available on the AMC+ channel for Prime Video, but we had to subscribe to that channel separately, effectively paying for AMC+ twice.
