Robert Jaworski celebrated his 75 th birthday on March 8, and it would’ve been a thrill to have been able to greet him in person, shake his huge hand and ask him about his plans for the next 75 years.
As Ginebra trailed NCC by big 15 deficit in the 4th quarter, Sonny bandaged and all, came back to the roar of the crowd and led Ginebra in a come-from-behind surprise victory. Jaworski's legend continues to the present generation. As long as a Ginebra team in the PBA exists, Jaworski will always be a legacy foretold time and again.
