There's a web browser (like google) app called Brave, and it has cool features like built in adblockers and VPNs, but on iPhone, by pressing the 3 dots in the corner and tapping "Add to Playlist", you can add your videos to a playlist where you can then hold the video and click "Save for Offline Cache" Afaik, you can only use the playlist on iPhone.

Jun 18, 2023 · Bitrate affects video quality. For example, a 1080p video encoded with 2000 Kbps bitrate has lots of artifacts and looks blurry. But a 1080p video with 8000 Kbps bitrate looks crispy and flawless. Typically you want 3500-6000 Kbps bitrate for 1080p video streams at 30-60 fps.
May 3, 2022 · It's mostly likely that the source video itself is uploaded as 1080p, so that there is no 4k option. If that video you mentioned is on youtube, you can click the gear-shaped icon Settings > Quality, and check the highest quality of that video. If the highest is 1080p, then the download can only detect 1080p.

Apr 8, 2024 · I did multiple file size comparisons with both auto and manual mode, and it appears that the best version 4K Video Downloader+ can download is the 2+ Mbps VP9 one. For context, I don't use the other app because its downloading function is poorly optimized where the downloading often stops at some random percentage forever.
Aug 21, 2013 · I use VLC because it's not just a youtube downloader. It's primarily a media player, though it can convert music or movies to lots of different formats. To download a video from youtube: Open VLC. Under "Media" you want to Convert/Save (CTRL + R) Click the "Network" tab. Copy + Paste the URL of your Youtube video. Click convert.
