Oct 22, 2020 · Like you, Cubase on the previous machine had been installed at C7 and then updated incrementaly to C10 making for a somewhat convoluted structure on my C drive. Using the Steinberg Download Assistant to download fresh versions of C10.5, Wavelab and various other Steinberg Instruments etc. wasn’t at all onerous and the clean fresh install is a thing of wonder.
Nov 3, 2023 · There are several listed in the Cubase 13 pro install section in the Download Assistant (indicating they are included with C13 - why else be in that section?) that are not on the Steinberg “included with C13” list, such as Analogue Wonder, Vintage Verb Collection, Sequel Midi Loops and Delicatessen. Will I be able to use these?

Mar 2, 2019 · cant find the answer anywhere, I’m trying to do a clean re-install of cubase, I did uninstall with windows uninstaller, but upon re-installing all the previous settings and “recent projects” were remembered by cubase, so obviously that wasnt c lean re-install
Nov 24, 2023 · 1)Given the fact that I am getting older and my eyes are not as good as they were a request for steinberg to add a few options for small screens. woulde be a bonus. 2) a dedicated mix button as in logic pro 11 . 3) available phone support as steinberg in Canada once had, and apple and logic still have. Wityh grewat advice and short waiting times.
Mar 5, 2022 · The same Problem here…Cubase 12 does NOT SCAN C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3! The only VST3 Folder scanned is C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 12\VST3 So I created a new folder in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 12\VST3 and made a symlink to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. Now it works.

Sep 14, 2021 · Ok, so an update - I finally managed to fix the problem. It seemed what was causing it was that I was opening Cubase projects which were routed for my old interface (a 2 channel Tascam device), which was confusing the system somewhere. I started a brand new Cubase project and the Zoom driver works fine.
May 2, 2022 · A couple of years ago, I encountered the dreaded “Cubase hang on project close” problem. The culprit is usually a plugin. But how to find out? In this case, start WinDbg, but Select “File->Attach to Process” and then select Cubase. Do this when you already closed the project and Cubase hangs. Now just type “k” in the command window.
