May 1, 2023 · However, in Conviction, higher polling rates may cause issues with your mouse aim. If your mouse allows it, try setting the polling rate to 125 Hz through software. This issue also applies to all games in the series, from the original Splinter Cell to Splinter Cell: Blacklist. It is possibly related to the use of the Unreal Engine 2.

Jul 1, 2023 · I changed the game's exe properties to run compatibility mode for Windows 7 and yet there is no sound in the game. I can hear the main menu and all the pause menu clicks and beeps but when in game all I can hear is Sam's shoes squeaking pretty much. Any fix?
