Mar 18, 2024 · Iris = fabric shaders. Rubidium = forge optimization (forge fork of sodium) Sodium = fabric optimization. Shaders are almost unusable in most scenarios without the equivalent optimization mod in question. Iris is also useless in this case as it is for the wrong modloader. Your problems should be solved by adding rubidium and removing iris.
Dec 26, 2022 · I had the same problem too, it’s very frustrating but this is the one workaround that others have told me. Nope. OptiFine and Iris/Oculus are the only shaders mods out there (well, excluding Canvas but it uses a completely different shader format than OptiFine/Iris).
Feb 6, 2023 · For me Create 0.5.0.h with Oculus 1.2.8a works without crashing. Both are the latest releases made for Minecraft 1.19.2 as far as I know. Oculus has a newer 1.19 release but that's for 1.19.3 only according to the Curseforge page. I had to manually find the right version in the files tab. Reply.

As I said in your other post, generally speaking Rubidium and Oculus will have more bugs than Sodium and Iris, though this may be exemplified by the fact that most of the mods that would cause bugs are on forge. An example of this is the create mod: when shaders are used with oculus the contraption rendering breaks.

Mar 18, 2024 · Iris is a fabric mod remove it. Oculus is just the forge version of Iris. Fabric is better optimized then forge so that could be reason you are seeing such a change. Try adding Embedium or Xenon to your mod folder and see if that improves it. I read that i need the Oculus mod to use Iris + Forge. if i open the game version with Iris, it runs ...

Oculus/Meta changed their authentication process which affects obtaining downgraded apk's for BMBF. While a fix is being looked into, you can follow the old method of downgrading. This replaces the downgrade step mentioned in the linked guide below. Install the latest version of Beat Saber onto your Quest Download the APK using advanced SideQuest.
