Aug 15, 2024 · President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has ordered the non-working holiday in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day from Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, to Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. In Proclamation No. 665, Marcos said the move was for a longer weekend that would promote domestic tourism.
