Oct 19, 2015 · Joined. Oct 19, 2015. Messages. 181. The Asrock W790 WS looks like the closest thing I have seen to a DDR5 HEDT motherboard with it's 5 full x16 PCIe lanes 4 of which are 5.0. This is aimed at workstations though but still, should I pull the trigger or wait for more and better offering to soon be released? Feb 22, 2023.

May 23, 2012 · Hi all. So there are a good amount of X570 motherboards out there now that carry a 2.5G Ethernet port on the motherboard. The ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero X570 motherboard is an example of that as well as Gigabyte's Aorus Master X570 and MSI's MAG X570 Tomahawk Wi-Fi amongst a few others.
Aug 31, 2004 · The "changes" that make an X870E an X870E don't even have to do with the chipset itself in many cases. -USB4. This is now Standard on all X870E motherboards. X670E only guarantees you USB 3.2. In terms of USB speeds, realistically USB 3.2 is plenty fast.

Dec 8, 2010 · This motherboard is pretty cool for a mini ITX build, but lack of fan monitoring is killing. Speedfan has been unsuccessful as well =(. I just unplug my CPU fan hoping that the lower power draw is ok without the fan and just heatsink. On a side note, this motherboard does allow me to a easy, compact solution for a mini HTPC build.

No problems with a surface scratch on the finish of the motherboard. If you want to protect from future scratches potentially in that area, Paint some MG Chemical Conformal coating on it.
Mar 29, 2012 · The motherboard is 12x11 or so, EATX. What I'm thinking of doing is putting the motherboard in an anti-static bag, wrapping the bagged motherboard in packing foam sheets, and then ordering (and eating) a large pizza in order to get a 14x14 inch shallow box.
Jan 10, 2020 · Take the motherboard out of the case and sit it on a safe spot, even a cardboard box. Remove all the cards, ssds, memory, disconnect all fans, even the CPU fan, monitor discconected. hook up the power supply and see if the board will light up, try to start, it should give errors due to no memory etc.
