Nope, poor mojang that’s made many billions of dollars from this game just couldn’t afford to keep a database running to prolong the migration window. So fork up money again if you want to play the game you already paid for. Nope.
Jan 23, 2024 · If you didn't migrate it last year your accounts disappear & you have to buy Minecraft again. If you haven't played MC for awhile you're basically screwed. It sucks especially if you somehow can't get into your email even if you did migrate your account but Mojang did give MC players a heads up to migrate your account for a while. Reply reply.
People with accounts lost in the migration process are basically screwed, since once migration occurs, it moves the account data to a Microsoft account, but Microsoft support has zero access to Minecraft account information within Microsoft accounts, and Mojang no longer has access to it either.
The fix that worked for me is, create a new Microsoft account BEFORE you attempt any of the Mojang->Microsoft migration process! So, go to minecraft.net, click sign in, but instead of putting in your Mojang acct creds, click "Create new Microsoft account" and set that all up.

Mojang's claim that they no longer handle account issues is also a violation of the law because they are the legal entity that contracted with the customer, so it very much is their responsibility. There are people who did attempt the migration and still don't have access because their migration system has bugs.
