Coolant is often overlooked as well, you would do well to at least consider draining and replacing what you have for peak performance. Wear items like the clutch and brake pads are 100% up to you how long they last.
Jul 14, 2011 · The AYC (active yaw control) and ACD (active center differential) system in the Evolution X is very complicated mechanically and there has been much interest in how to service the system. The USDM market has not seen the combined ACD/AYC system until the Evolution X. the factory service manuals from 2008 and 2010 versions are very poorly written and confusing.

Time=about 1.5hrs. 1: Lift the front of the car and support it with jackstands, unless you have access to a lift. 2: Remove the center lower shield and the drivers lower shield. About 30 small clips pry up on the center button and they release.
Aug 24, 2013 · Unclip wiring harnesses on valve cover and move out of way. Remove spark plugs. Remove valve cover. This is where we rotated the crankshaft using the 22mm socket to line up the timing marks on the camshaft cogs to the chain. It looks like our chain skipped a tooth. Drink a little beer. Remove the coolant reservoir.

Used to be expensive, but now even wet cell batteries are crazy expensive so it's a good deal. I use the odyssey brand battery tender if the car's been sitting too long.
Dec 24, 2016 · Yes the MR will be a lot easier to live with especially in traffic. And it's got a 6th gear which lowers the rpms at cruising speed. But the trans is an expensive power limiting option which can be a problem if you track the car. The GSR's biggest problem is its gear ratios.

This equates to phenomenal grip, and at times it is so compliant that you feel the car isn't fun (especially, if you come from RWD/FWD platforms). Many people start chasing power to make the car more fun (plus, its a turbo car with strong motor reputation so why not).

Oct 18, 2023 · Splattj. 891 posts · Joined 2011. #6 · Sep 7, 2023. AIT sensor shouldn't cause a no-start. The no spark is usually a crank/cam sensor issue but it could be the ECU. ECU is what triggers spark and usually you'll get a code if it's not seeing a critical sensor.
