If PowerPoint 2013 is listed there, click on the Install link to install it. If PowerPoint 2013 isn't listed, click on this page, then scroll all the way to the bottom to find a download link for Office 2013.

Mar 6, 2022 · I solved this buy opening the Microsoft Store and downloading Word and Excel directly to unlock the "open on desktop" function. However, at that time I did not download PowerPoint. Now, every single time I try to create a PowerPoint presentation I'm forced to use the inferior online version, which is difficult to use, has fewer functions, and forces me to work in a way that I really don't enjoy.
Try to download the template from the application itself and check if you are able to download. Open PowerPoint, click on File> New> Templates and check if you can download. If you still have issues, start the computer in clean boot mode and try to download and check if it works. * Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
