Dec 31, 2023 · There's probably also a use case for (as an optional configuration) sending metronome-as-MIDI-notes out over the DIN jacks as well. I can imagine wanting to drive a GM module or other hardware device to generate a more musically inconspicuous drum sound for playing along to.
Jul 14, 2023 · Yes that's normal, when the device stops to receive the AudioSync signal (i.e. Ableton is stopped), it automatically goes in Master mode. Oct 6, 2022 · Hi, I presume the metronome in Midronome accentuates the first beat of the bar. Is it possible to have metronome subdivisions? Meaning if the song tempo is e.g. 60bpm, the metronome counts in 120bpm or vice versa? Also, can you accentuate another beat in the bar except the first? Thanks.
Mar 5, 2022 · My own use case: My band plays with a backing track, and we’re not able to sync up. We would like to start every backing track with one bar of a recorded metronome track that tells Midronome the tempo and pulse. After that, we’d route the musical backing track to the PA and use drum machines live perfectly sync’ed to the backing track.

My usage is: Ipad (setlist maker) midi over usb to line 6 helix, helix 5 pin out to boss ve-500 vocal processor.

Oct 25, 2023 · Can you record the Midronome's metronome? I would be really surprised if it does not start right on the first beat. If it does, it means the MIDI Clock is sent from the Midronome from the first beat, then it must be a setting on the Octatrack that somehow gets it to start a beat later. Do you have other sequencers you could try with maybe?
