Korean Air Baggage. Carry-On Allowance. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. In addition to a personal item (overcoat, laptop, purse) passengers are allowed one carry-on bag whose dimensions (length + height + width) does not exceed 115 cm/45 ins and which does not weigh more than 12 kg/25 lbs.
Each passenger traveling on a Korean Air flight is entitled to a free checked baggage allowance that corresponds to carriage, in the hold and at no extra charge, of a quantity of baggage limited by number, weight, and dimensions.
Economy class passengers have a free baggage allowance of 2 bags of 23 kg or 50 lbs each in most countries. In the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, these operating airlines only allow one checked baggage of 50 lbs. Korea to neighboring countries such as Japan, China also has a 1 bag policy for economy class.
