Sep 10, 2023 · I just bought an Acer Aspire 5 that came with a Japanese windows 11. Made a mistake of choosing Japan as my region/country during the beginning of installation. So after downloading the updates and signing in, went ahead and changed the region on settings and added english as the primary language (downloaded the packs too) then signed out.

I'm an American living in Japan. My Xbox One is set to English while the region is set to Japan. I have Game Pass, and every game I've downloaded and gone though (probably over 10 by this point) has been completely in English. All of a sudden, I download Alien: Isolation, and all of the in-game text is in Japanese.
