A bit of a hard ask, but I'm looking for some music with a very intense theme/feeling. Not necessarily just sad or depressing music, but the kind of emotions that you can't exactly explain. Pink Cigarette by Mr. Bungle is my best example, it gives a feeling of desperation, yearning, and absolute devastation.
May 25, 2021 · I feel that boss music is often taken as a challenge by a game's composer to compose a song that stands alone amongst the soundtrack. After all, apart from individual story beats (a twist, a betrayal, etc), boss battles are most likely the part of a game you will recall with excitement, and a great theme goes a very long way towards creating those memories.
The vast majority of the "Easy" playlists are fight music from Fallout: New Vegas, and they fit extremely well: They're engaging enough, mid-tempo, but only have a few instruments and don't play anything grandiose and bombastic: Just something with enough energy to keep the players engaged while they're rolling their dice against those 3 Gobelins.

As a music and sound producer with lots of experience in the making of it, I really believe you and others that can 'feel music', like many of us in the industry do, should maybe start tinkering with making music yourselves. It can be stunningly rewarding as a hobby and a very effective antidepressant - Akin to meditation at times.

I’m not really looking for epic music, there’s plenty of that, I’m more searching for music that you feel like it is going to give you a heart attack, in a good way.

I recently started playing blasphemous hoping it has killer soundtrack as well. If you guys have any favorite songs, games, suggestions you wanna give I would appreciate it from y'all thnx.
Aug 13, 2022 · It depends. Some games get away with fast-paced intense music all over the game, for others it may get annoying very fast. If you mix intense music with intense gameplay and then chill during the more relaxed parts of the game, it should be ok. Make sure players can control the volume and turn it off if they want.
