I would love to use my GoPro Hero8 Black as a webcam. I've installed the beta firmware on my sd card, but unfortunately I have don't have a Mac computer so I can't use the webcam function until the GoPro Webcam Desktop Utility software is released for Windows. I love my GoPro and thank you for developing software to use it as a webcam!

Your best bet would be to join the Webcam beta facebook group and talk to the developers there. They can't fix issues with hardware if they are unaware there is an issue. So join, give your feedback and let them know your hardware specs. They'll try to find a workaround. As of right now the GoPro webcam app page says only Windows 10 in supported.
