I've spent some time trying to get my gopro hero 10 black working with Windows 10 on a laptop and a desktop. absolutely no sign of life as a webcam and no recognition of the camera using Quik- Te only way I have managed to access anything is to transfer files as a usb card.
In the attached file, I hope you see why I read it as the Hero 7 black was supported by the WebCam App. The Hero 9 black, the Hero 8 black & the Hero 7 black are written in exact same way, so it's hard to believe they should not alle be supported as written.
There is a working version of the GoPro webcam app for Windows: It's version 1.1.1.207 from the year 2020. But this version - which works perfectly fine on my PC with Windows 10 - is not available on the GoPro website. Users are circulating it privately in forums. The new version of the webcam app crashes right after start.
