Feb 17, 2022 · For in-flight entertainment, AY - has wider and better collection of programs, including tail and nose wheel cameras. AY's Champagne, believe it or not, is better than JL's. 1-2-1 configuration on A350. AY's J cabin seems roomier; JL's Sky Suite can be too confining.
all paid economy booking classes are eligible. you cannot upgrade any codeshare flights. you do not need to be a AY+ member. Cost: varies case by case. for Europe, prices range from €50 to €200 one way. for long hauls, DEL is the cheapest with prices as low as €200 one way, other destinations tend to be €350–€500.

I am flying DFW (AA)-LHR (AY)-HEL (AY)-SIN and have a 6 hour layover in LHR before catching my flight to HEL. There is an earlier flight from LHR-HEL, would it be possible for me to fly standby on the earlier flight.
Nov 23, 2013 · I've done 4 finnair flights in November JFK-HEL and back and have two more in December. All booked as AA codeshares. I'm AA plat and for each flight I've been able to pick exits and bulkheads through finnair.com without paying anything. For all of my flights I'm either 41C or 41J. If any one wants seat advice for AY's A333 just holler.
Oct 20, 2023 · Finnair vs SAS - 2023 edition. This is a joint venture with ffay005, who recently flew Finnair on almost the same route as I flew SAS. We are comparing the two flights below - they are very similar in stage length and market served. They do have different departure time, but even so none of them are red-eye.
Aug 18, 2023 · With Finnair Plus program becoming spend-based in late January 2024, you will collect Avios and reach tiers from the flight and travel extra purchases with Finnair based on the money you spend. The money you spend will be converted to tier points and Avios with a tier-specific multiplier, which is 9 for Finnair Plus Platinum members.

The various ticket types can overlap in booking class, but they differ in service level and fare terms. The ticket types are not sold on destinations covered by joint ventures, ie Japan and NA.
