Oct 24, 2020 · The Ravager is more expensive because it contains the entire Raider kit, plus an additional sprue to upgrade to a Ravager. Also note that the Ravager is not a transport, it has more guns instead. If you want transports, then you want Raider for melee units, and Venoms for ranged units or units that are going to camp objectives.

Oct 13, 2022 · Along with another player who chose Tau, we decided to start at 500 points as a way to teach newbies like us into the game. I have a decent number of kabalites and wyches, 2 raiders and 1 ravager for my starting army. My end goal would be a real space raid and might possibly expand on to Ynarri, but that is a plan after I master the Drukhari.
