O.K. no sweat should be able to help somewhat but who is going to hook up the VCR for them ? Needs composite input for video (yellow) and 2x RCA cable for Sound (red + white) These fit into sockets on the rear of panel not sure of exact position an that model.
No upgrade to a higher spec'ed product that they have in stock. Very unsatisfactory. Dicksmith is as reliable as kogan is reliable and is as safe as the last dicksmith that went bust. It can happen again. If you buy a Kogan phone look very carefully at the model number, and then look up the specs for that model number.

Try the following: 1) Unplug the charger from the AC. 2) Short the + terminal of the dead cell with the cell next to it using a paperclip for like 10 seconds. 3) Remove the paper clip and plug the charger in the AC. It should charge again, but generally when it gets to this point you should replace them already.

"Dick Smith" has a log, long history of stripping parts out to create reduced prices. Once they stopped electronis parts, I stopped visiting as there were never any real specials. The question I've seen in a number of articles about the sale is whether they are just discounting on-brand or real brands.\

I can't seem to find where to download them or if they are available. Is there a generic or compatible firmware that will work? I have a 38.5" GE6824. Works okay but the interface and EPG is a little cumbersome.
Just noticed Dick Smith have a 40" Full HD LCD TV with "USB Media Playback" for only $368.
