The meaning of "nonetheless" is given as: in spite of that; nevertheless. Does this mean that both the words can be used interchangeably? For some reason "nonetheless misleading" seems inappropriate.

  10. EDIT: According to a dictionary the phrase with "fits" makes more sense. I use this phrase for a educational programme. Nonetheless, the phrase "The programme perfectly meets my needs" should be a formal one, which I have chosen now.
