Apr 16, 2021 · Based pretty much means “I agree” but of course it can also be used ironically/sarcastically. No it doesn't. It's a right wing word meaning the opposite of Woke. Based is someone who is confident in their traditional opinions of the world and not swayed by the current zeitgeist of liberal thought.

IE someone says they don't like rain and people respond with 'based take'. Yeah and debased means corrupted or impure. For once a slang that actually makes sense.
Based comes from the slang basehead, a term from the 1980s to describe people addicted to freebasing cocaine, a method which makes the drug smokable. I missed bout a week or 2 of the channel and everyone's going BASED BASED BASED. BASED = RACIST , HOMOPHOBIC, your opinion > others opinion , bully 12 y/o kids , NOT TOXIC. Its basically a sophisticated emote. You can literally say anything followed with BASED. Its like 5Head without the smart connotation.

My high school students say it means "good" or something positive but they don't use it often. "Based" is often used when someone shares an opinion that could be considered controversial.

Oct 21, 2021 · It's a part of him. The term "Based God" is a nickname for The Pack member Brandon McCartney, better known as "Lil' B". McCartney refers to himself as the "Based God" in several of his songs. The nickname may have come before from The Pack's debut album, "Based Boys".
